Juvenile Services Education Program


The Juvenile Services Education (JSE) program provides educational services to youths detained and committed by the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services (DJS). By the end of June 2013, JSE will manage and implement educational services in 14 DJS facilities statewide.

 
Juvenile Services Education (JSE)

 
Currently, JSE staff provides instruction in core academic subjects in seven detention and three treatment facilities. Career Technology Education, Life Skills, Computer Literacy, and General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preparation programs are also provided.
