1.  If you are employed in a Maryland local school system, your renewal request will be processed by your local school system.

2.  If you are not currently employed in a local school school system, submit the following:

• Professional Eligibility Certificate (PEC):  official transcripts for six (6) semester hours of acceptable credit and a money order, cashiers check, or certified check in the amount of $10 made payable to MSDE.
  
• Advanced Professional Certificate (APC):official transcripts for six (6) semester hours of acceptable credit and a money order, cashiers check, or certified check in the amount of $10 made payable to MSDE.
