Early Childhood Program

Expansion of Early Childhood and School-Age Programs

Head Start and EEEP programs receive funding through the Office of Child Care (OCC) to expand part-time, part-day programs to make them full-day, full-year programs that meet the needs of working families. Child care programs receive funding to expand before and after-school programs to serve additional families.

The following is a list of programs receiving funding through OCC to expand early childhood or school-age programs:

  • Caroline County Public Schools
  • Human Services Programs of Carroll County
  • ACP Intelligent Child Care
  • Frederick YMCA
  • PACT: Helping Children with Special Needs
