Organizations That Evaluate Foreign Credentials
Individuals who possess foreign diplomas or transcripts must have their credentials evaluated to verify the equivalent of the conferral of a bachelor's degree or 120 semester hours of college credit. A course by course translation for purposes of credit or course equivalencies may also be needed.
The Maryland State Department of Education does not have the resources to determine degree or course credit equivalencies from universities or colleges outside of the United States or to translate foreign credentials. This list contains the names and addresses of 14 companies that provide the preceding services on a fee-for-service basis.
