New booklets for birth through three-years-old available at libraries throughout State

WHAT: A Story Time with the Prince George's County Infants and Toddlers Program at Oxon Hill Library will kick-off a statewide distribution of the Healthy Beginnings: Supporting Development and Learning from Birth through Three Years of Age booklets and its accompanying website www.marylandhealthybeginnings.org. Following the Story Time, families will be invited to view the new website on the library computers.
The booklets were developed to ensure that the people who care for infants and young children have the knowledge and resources to support and encourage children during the ongoing process of growth and learning. The Maryland Public Libraries in collaboration with the Maryland State Department of Education's Divisions of Library Services, Early Childhood Development, and Special Education/Early Intervention Services will distribute this valuable resource throughout the State to all public libraries.
