Give your used computers and computer equipment to the Phoenix Project of the Maryland State Department of Education. This project returns refurbished computer equipment to schools, and the community.

Here is the opportunity for your school or community organization to receive refurbished computer equipment. Give continued life to equipment that can be put to good use to meet your school or community project goals.

There is a small charge per computer to community groups, schools or individuals receiving equipment through our program.

The Phoenix Project is a program of MSDE in partnership with:
East Baltimore Technology Resource Center
Historic East Baltimore Community Action Coalition
National Cristina Foundation
Social Security Administration

Phoenix Project provides donated computers and peripherals for:
· Public schools K - 12 and school systems
· Community based organizations serving the education needs of students
· Religious organizations serving the education needs of students

By giving your donated computers to Phoenix Project you:
· Enhance the quality of education
· Increase the level of technology
· Provide a better foundation for children

· Receiving Tax Credits
· Reducing your cost of warehouse transfer and storage
· Being environmentally friendly by recycling vs. land fill disposal

High Standards
· Computers are complete systems including central processing unit (CPU) color monitor and keyboard.
· All components have been thoroughly tested and are ready to go.

Donations:
We accept new or used computer equipment rated Pentium 4 or higher.
