2005-2006 MD Teachers of the Year
Senators Paul S. Sarbanes (D-MD) and Barbara A. Mikulski (D-MD)
meet with the local Maryland Teachers of the Year during a visit to
Capitol Hill on May 2. The group included Montgomery County
kindergarten teacher Kimberly Oliver who was selected as the
2006 National Teacher of the Year.

The 2004-2005 Teachers of the Year were honored
on the floor of the General Assembly in Annapolis
on February 9, 2005. Each of the teachers were
honored and presented with a proclamation from
Maryland' s House and Senate.
