Focus! on Food Safety
FOCUS!
is an easy-to-implement training program designed by school food & nutrition supervisors and area
managers in Maryland. This year-long program is intended to support basic food safety skills
in school kitchens by
focusing on seven best practices. More than 1,800 food service staff in 500 schools statewide have participated in the FOCUS! program.
