The P-20 Task Force Report recommendations were taken into consideration as Maryland State Department of Education compiled their application for Race to the Top grant funding. Maryland’s Race to the Top, $250 million, four year grant includes a variety of initiatives involving STEM Education for students and teachers.  Race to the Top will accelerate Maryland State Department of Education’s involvement in STEM education.  For a description of Race to the Top STEM initiatives, click the link below.
