-Carroll County Public Schools held their first ninth grade engineering challenge.

February
-Howard County Women’s Giving Circle sponsored Girl Power: The Changing Face of STEM.

-Engineering Week runs from February 17th through the 23rd.

-The FIRST Robotics Chesapeake Regional Competition
was held March 13 - 15 at the United States Naval Academy. Woodlawn High School in Baltimore County won the highest award given. For more winners from Maryland refer to  First Robotics Chesapeake Regional Competition.08.doc

-Prince George’s County will host their 24th Annual Senior Research Practicum Symposium on April 25.

-Towson University will host the Sally Ride Festival on May 10.
