National Center for Education Statistics

This federal agency collects and analyzes data related to education in the United States and other nations. The "K-12 Practitioners Circle" is designed to provide useful information and data for educators on elementary and secondary education. Data related to technology can be found in several of the reports and publications.

The Horizon Report (New Media Consortium)
The NMC Horizon Report: 2012 K-12 Edition is a collaborative research effort between the NMC, the Consortium of School Networking (CoSN), and the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).  Report discusses the top emerging technologies, trends, and challenges that the advisory board believes will have a major impact on teaching, learning, and creative inquiry in pre-college education over the next five years.
