Maryland Statewide Technology Contracts

This Maryland Department of Budget and Management (DBM) web page contains information about information technology contracts for goods and services. These contracts are available for use by state agencies, local governments, and some nonprofit organizations (check the contract language). The DBM Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for managing major, highly complex statewide IT programs. The PMO will function as a liaison for contractors and project/task managers at the various user agencies for IT programs.

Maryland Education Enterprise Consortium

MEEC is an initiative of the University System of Maryland, uniting with K-16 education partners to provide quality information technology opportunities at affordable prices.

MEEC leverages its size and volume to all education providers in Maryland at very attractive prices. Currently, 100+ Maryland educational institutions participate in MEEC projects, including higher education, K-12, public, and private schools. The primary bond was forged to negotiate an Enterprise Agreement with Microsoft. Since then, anti-virus software, Apple, and discounted training for IT professionals have been added. Participation in all aspects of the consortium is voluntary and non-exclusive.
