February is CTE Month, and this is an opportunity to celebrate and promote Career and Technology Education (CTE) in Maryland. CTE prepares students to become career and college ready and to obtain high-wage jobs in high-demand occupations.
The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) embraces CTE Month and developed and coordinated a variety of activities that educate Marylanders about the lifelong impact that CTE has on Maryland high school students.
