Maryland Charter Schools Program Grants

The purpose of the Maryland Charter Schools Program is to award grants to eligible applicants to open and prepare for the operation of new charter schools, and for the replication or expansion of high quality charter schools. The first grant awards in this program were announced in September 2018. Supplemental funding was announced in November, 2019.

2021 GRANT ROUND

Technical Assistance

The Maryland Alliance of Public Charter Schools provides a range of technical assistance activities for groups that are developing proposals for the start-up, expansion, or replication of charter schools in Maryland.
