The Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Program (FFVP) is offered to eligible elementary schools to introduce children to fresh fruits and vegetables that they might not otherwise have the opportunity to sample. The goal of the FFVP is to Introduce a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables to young children with the outcome of increasing their consumption of fresh produce and therefore creating better food choices throughout their lives.
