School Breakfast Program

The School Breakfast Program (SBP) provides funding that makes it possible for schools and residential child care institutions to offer a nutritious breakfast to students each day. Participating agencies receive federal funds for each breakfast served, provided that the meal meets. It is administered at the Federal level by United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). State education agencies administer the SBP at the State level, and local school food authorities operate it in schools.
