Out-of-State Candidate Assessment Requirements

​All applicants who hold a professional teaching license from another state or have completed an approved teacher preparation program in another state must submit passing scores on a performance-based pedagogy assessment. If applying for one of the following areas, a reading instruction assessment is also required:

  • Early Childhood Education

  • Elementary Education

  • Special Education Infant-3rd

  • Special Education 1st-8th

  • Special Education 6th-Adult

  • ESOL PK-12
