Office of Recruitment and Staffing

The mission of the Office of Recruitment and Staffing is to provide quality customer service to our internal and external customers, recruit highly qualified applicants, and to retain a capable and committed workforce that is strategically focused to manage, monitor, and improve the Maryland public education system. 

The Office of Recruitment and Staffing(OHR) includes five Core Services Team Talent Partners (TP) that provide hands-on customer service and are responsible for overseeing the entire staffing life cycle that makes up MSDE's talent strategies and practices to ensure high-quality staff across the department by working directly with the leaders within each assigned Office and Division and implementing specific strategies to achieve staffing goals.
