Field Trip Grant to Museums of Cultural Import

Purpose

This grant provides funding to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to cover any related expenses for student field trips to identified museums of cultural import during the 2025-2026 school year under Maryland Education Article §7–134. These locations are The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, The National Museum of African American History and Culture, The Jewish Museum of Maryland, and The Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture.




When will the application be open?

This Grant Information Guide (GIG) was re-released on June 9, 2025.


Application Submission Date

December 1, 2025. No later than 5:00 pm EST.

$500,000


Estimated Number of Grants

Will vary based on the number of applications received.
