MSDE Report Card
What makes us unique:
City Neighbors High School has a one of a kind advisory program called POD, an internship experience for every 11th grade student and completes assignments through project based learning and arts integration. CNHS also has a strong student support system that provides support to students through our summer program and with a social worker who focuses on working with 9th/10th grade students. There are a plethora of after school activities that students can participate in, including chess, poetry club, art club, sports programming, step team, music club, anime club, National Honor Society and more. Students also benefit from a wonderful teaching staff and a state of the art Fab Lab.
Community:
City Neighbors High School collaborates with its two sister schools, City Neighbors Hamilton and City Neighbors Charter School, to create an environment where students and staff are encouraged to develop both academically and socially. We collaborate with these two schools for professional development, leadership support and pedogical review. As a part of the Hamilton/Lauraville Neighborhood, CNHS works with the businesses in the area, the local neighborhood associations and families to provide internships to all of our 11th grade students. We have also participated in a variety of neighborhood clean up events and greening projects. City Neighbors Foundation, our operator, sponsors the Progressive Ed Summit annually. Nationally, we are a Big Picture Affiliate.
Mission and Vision:
City Neighbors High School is a progressive and innovative model that challenges students to the highest level of academic excellence and the highest level of personal and communal good to create our school. We see our students as creative, powerful, and deserving of the deepest respect. We believe in each other at City Neighbors. Together we are creating a school where people are Known, Loved, and Inspired.

Principal's Message:
I am most proud of my school community when I am able to watch students develop for 4 years with the support of a wonderful teaching staff. Seeing students walk across the stage after experiencing social and academic growth is the proudest moment of each school year.
