MSDE announced the award of more than $169 Million in Maryland Leads grants to local education agencies (LEAs) across the State. Through seven high-leverage strategies including science of reading and "grow your own" staffing, Maryland Leads supports LEA efforts in accelerating student achievement and delivering an equitable and excellent education. All 24 LEAs are participating in at least two strategy areas!
