The Home Visiting Grants Submission Timeline provides guidance related to the timely development, submission, implementation, and reporting of the Early Intervention and Special Education Home Visiting Grant.

Grant Submission Timeline: May 5 – June 6, 2022

Deadline: June 6, 2022 [No later than 5:00 p.m. EST]

Customer Service Support Sessions
The MSDE will hold several customer service support sessions for interested applicants. During these sessions, MSDE personnel will provide an overview of the new grant application format and content, invoicing and reporting requirements, allowable and not allowable expenditures, and a timeline for submission of grant budget and program amendment requests.

Implementation Timeline and Related Documents

MAY

: Grant Information Guide and Application are released.

State Assurances [Fully executed document is submitted as an attachment to the Application]

MSDE Grant Budget C-1-25, Budget Detail, and Amendment Forms [Fully executed documents are submitted as an attachment to the Application]

SEPTEMBER

: Process & Procedure Updates Presentation

: All SFY 2022 funds are liquidated and Final Financial Report is due to MSDE

JANUARY

: Semi-Annual Reporting Matrix and Cumulative Variance Report are due to MSDE

MAY

: Deadline for Grant Amendment Requests [Includes Extensions]

JUNE

: All costs/expenditures to the SFY 2023 Home Visiting must be posted to the grant

JULY

: Final Reporting Matrix & Program Report Addendum are due to MSDE

SEPTEMBER

: All funds are liquidated and Final Financial Report is due to MSDE

QUARTERLY INVOICING

Requests for Payment are submitted Quarterly, at a minimum, using the DEI-SES Standardized Invoice.

November 1 – January 31 – May 31 – September 15
