Task Force to Study Nonpublic Transportation - Maryland State Department of Education

During the 2023 Legislative Session, the Maryland General Assembly passed House Bill 48 (CH. 777), entitled “Task Force to Study Nonpublic Student Bus Transportation.” This bill establishes the Task Force to collect information from each local board of education on nonpublic school student busing programs and to provide recommendations as to how the State may support a reduction in the use of passenger vehicles for nonpublic school students and policies for certain busing programs.
